Solutions to meet a variety of on-site power needs

UTC Power offers a variety of options for facility on-site generation. These solutions include:
  • Combined Cooling, Heating and Power (CCHP) – Integrated high-efficiency, assured power solutions comprising various combinations of microturbines, fuel cells, chillers and heat exchangers powered by natural gas and exhaust energy.

  • Heat-Based Generation – Through the use of a closed refrigerant cycle, electrical power is generated from a geothermal water source or waste heat exhausted from reciprocating engines, turbines, industrial processes or flare waste heat.

PureCell® Model 400 Power System – This clean, efficient and reliable fuel cell powerplant produces 400 kilowatts of electricity and heat (approximately 1,700,000 Btu per hour) suitable for combined heat and power (CHP) applications.

PureCell® Model 200 Power System – This clean, efficient and reliable fuel cell powerplant produces 200 kilowatts of electricity and heat (approximately 900,000 Btu per hour) suitable for combined heat and power (CHP) applications.

PureComfort® Models 195M, 260M, 325M, and 390M Combined Cooling, Heating and Power Solutions – The PureComfort® solutions provide 195 to 390 kilowatts of electricity while capturing exhaust energy to power an absorption chiller, creating simultaneous cooling and heating in the same system. This innovative system is ideal for increased assurance of power, as well as a reduction of costs.

PureCycle® Power SystemThe PureCycle® power system is a 24/7 renewable power source.  Its closed-cycle process uses geothermal water to generate 280 kilowatts of electrical power (gross) with zero emissions.  The Purecycle® power system can operate on a wide range of geothermal resource temperatures starting as low as 195°F
(91°C).
