| Kenneth C. Stewart Vice President, Transportation Ken Stewart is vice president, transportation at UTC Power and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s fleet, automotive, and space & defense businesses.
Ken joined UTC Power in 2007 after a distinguished career in the automotive sector, where he was director of business development for ASC Incorporated, an automotive design and engineering resource for OEM manufacturers and a manufacturer of low-volume specialty vehicles. Prior to joining ASC, Ken served as director of new ventures for General Motors Corporation where he managed GM’s EV1 electric car and alternative-fuels programs, led a strategic product and business plan for one of GM’s North American divisions and took the lead in a variety of advanced hybrid and fuel-cell initiatives.
Ken earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from Duke University. He is a member of Society of Automotive Engineers and has been a guest lecturer on a variety of automotive topics at Wayne State University, Michigan State University and Duke University.
